My passion for music began from an early age as my parents told me I used to sing and dance to my dad’s Miriam Makeba album as a baby. Music was always being played at home as my dad was an avid collector of Jazz, Funk and Soul and my brother had an extensive Reggae collection.
I purchased my very first 7 inch single aged 9 and have continued to buy and collect vinyl ever since. I spent my early years being addicted to pirate radio, the likes of Radio Invicta, Horizon radio, JFM, LWR, Radio Caroline, Solar etc.
I worked in a well known record shop which is where my collecting took off as I would spend my weekly wages on records! My passion for the diverse sounds of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop and Blues and alternative sounds has led to an extensive record collection therefore I’m a certified vinyl junkie!
